About Me

Principal Amy Wright: My name is Amy Wright. I have been the principal of Stillwater Elementary School since September 2006. Prior to accepting the position at Stillwater, I worked in the Snoqualmie Valley School District for 16 years as a first grade teacher, fourth grade teacher, literacy specialist, independent writing consultant and teacher-on-special-assignment. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Language Arts from Seattle Pacific University in 1990 and went on to earn a Master's Degree in Integrated Curriculum in 1995. I returned to SPU to complete the Principal Certification program in 2004 and completed a principal internship at Cascade View Elementary School in Snoqualmie in 2006. I live with my husband and two teenage children in Fall CIty. I love to read, travel and spend time with friends and family.
